July 2023
Summer activities are in full swing and we hope everyone has been enjoying it as much as we have! As always, it has been so good to catch up with all our long time returning guests and also having the opportunity see new faces every day. Because of all you, we are able to make a living doing what we love, and we are so thankful for each and every one of you!
Over the course of the last year there have been a few upgrades here at the resort. Five of our cabins got a kitchen makeover with new countertops, sinks and backsplash (the Big Timber is next on the list)! If you have stayed with us in the last couple months you may have also noticed our new pickleball courts, E-Bikes for rent, and the new soft served ice-cream machine in our office! And as always, Brittany is keeping fresh merchandise and unique gifts flowing into our Cedar Hollow Boutique store…

Rental Bike Sale!
Call or email to reserve one today
Every year or two we buy new bikes to rent at the resort. At the end of this season we will be selling our current Trek Verve 2 rental bikes. The video linked here shows the model being sold. We have all “Lithium Grey” for color with both diamond (shown in photo) and step through frame options.
We will be selling them for $400 (retail is $700) and will eventually be adding these to an online marketplace, but we wanted to give our past guests the first opportunity to buy if interested!

Looking for that special place to host your family Thanksgiving or Christmas celebration? Pack some hot cocoa and warm socks and come check us out for a cozy winter time vacation!
Some of the activities include snow tubing, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, ice skating, broomball, hockey, and horse drawn sleigh rides. And of course, we decorate the cabins for the holidays. 🙂
Larry and Sheryl in Retirement?!?
Â
For those of you who know Larry and Sheryl it may be hard for you to believe that they would ever truly retire… and you’re probably right! But with their son Lucas joining the family business in November and with Brittany and John still active in the operation, it is safe to say the founders have slid into more of a part time consulting role, enjoying the extra free time at the farm mowing trails through the woods and gardening. 🙂
