Whitetail Deer

Fishing
The Driftless Region holds brown trout, brook trout and rainbow trout. According to the DNR many of these streams are at or near all-time high fish populations. While trout fishing is what the area is known for, in the Root River, anglers will also find plenty of bass, catfish, sogger, and even the occasional northern pike.
