Resort Amenities
Amenities at Cedar Valley Resort include
wireless internet in all cabins, a 9
hole Frisbee Golf Course, Sand Volleyball, a 40'
x 50' basketball court, 3 large playgrounds,
bocce ball and lots of green space for kids of
all ages. We have a retail area which includes
charcoal, firewood, a light line of groceries
and a variety of local goods and souvieners .
Root River Trail
The Root River, rated the #1 Trail in Minnesota,
winds through our property and continues 30
miles in both directions. Activities on the
trail include biking, hiking, blading and
cross-country skiing. (groomed)
Recreation on the Root River, which flows along
our property, is varied and includes canoeing,
kayaking and tubing. Bikes, canoes, kayaks and
tubes are all available for rent at the resort.
Area Fishing
Fishing is also very popular on the Root River
which is home to Small Mouth Bass, Trout and
variety of rough fish. In addition to the Root
River there are 12 designated trout streams
within 20 minutes, so whether you're an avid fly
fisherman or like hooks and worms, Cedar Valley
Resort is ideally located in the heart of Bluff
Country's most scenic streams. Local fishing guides available.
Hunting
Hunting includes deer, wild turkey, pheasants,
grouse and squirrel.
Therapeutic Massage
We are very happy to offer at the resort
Therapeutic Massages through the Lanesboro Day
Spa. They have a number of well trained
and respected therapists who come on site, so
you can relax in the comfort of your own cabin.
